The circumstances are different for everyone

Autism, ADHD or other forms of neurodiversity may play a role. We also meet people who have experienced anxiety, low mood, burnout, long-term illness or overload. Some have dropped out of education or have made several attempts to find a place where they fit.

A specific diagnosis is not required. We mainly consider whether someone could benefit from a supportive workplace where they can contribute, discover their strengths and gradually take on more responsibility.

Treatment can continue alongside our programmes

Breakout Bandits does not provide specialist treatment and does not replace it. If someone is already receiving support or treatment from a psychologist, psychiatrist or another healthcare professional, this can continue alongside their participation in Breakout Bandits.

Where needed, and with permission, we coordinate with the professionals involved. This allows each professional to contribute their own expertise.

Participation in Breakout Bandits can continue alongside other guidance or treatment.

How do weguideparticipants?

Whether Breakout Bandits is a good fit depends not only on someone’s current capacity, but also on whether our way of working, providing guidance and building responsibility suits them.
